Mae Phim has plenty of restaurants – from simple Thai food and noodle soups to fresh fish, seafood, cafés and international dishes. Many are along the beach road, and it's easy to find both lunch and dinner.

Around Mae Phim you'll find local markets, street food, fruit stalls and small shops. Nearby Klaeng offers a wider range of markets, grocery stores and everyday shopping.

Excursions from Mae Phim

From Mae Phim you can visit Klaeng, Rayong and Ban Phe, among other places. From Ban Phe, boats continue to Koh Samet, which makes a good day trip. A local tip is Munnork Private Island, a little-known island reached by boat from Mae Phim. It is far less visited than the better-known spots and makes for a quiet, unique day out.
